We will meet in Praça Marquês de Pombal at the indicated time and leave Lisbon behind to head towards the Alentejo wine region.
We will cross plains full of vineyards, olive trees and cork oaks, until we reach our first stop, a municipality that has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Welcome to Évora!
Once introductions have been made, we will begin a walking tour of Évora. Did you know that it is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Portugal? The cathedral, the Roman Temple, the Chapel of Bones... Walking through its streets we will see the most important monuments of the town and we will tell you many curiosities.
Did the route make you hungry? Before continuing the excursion, you will have an hour of free time to have lunch at a local restaurant.
The second stage will take place in Monsaraz, one of the oldest cities in Portugal and built within the walls of a castle. There, you will sip a good wine while contemplating one of the largest artificial lakes in Europe, the Alqueva. Don't forget your camera! Furthermore, it will be possible to carry out an optional tasting of the 5 most prestigious wines of Alantejo.
Finally, we will return to Lisbon after eight hours of activity.
