We will meet at the indicated time in Praça Marquês de Pombal and set off towards Lagoa de Albufeira. Its warm waters make it an ideal place for water sports, such as kayaking, kitesurfing and windsurfing!
Next, we will go to Praia das Bicas, a semi-wild beach bathed by crystal clear waters, in the Sesimbra area. From the cliffs, we will be able to contemplate the ocean and see the Sintra mountains on the horizon.
We will then move to Cabo Espichel, a breathtaking promontory where you can visit the sanctuary, the church of Our Lady of the Cape and the aqueduct. With this absolutely unique landscape as a backdrop, we will make a toast, kindly offered by our guide… Cheers!
It will then be time to learn about the dinosaur footprints in Zambujal, before reaching the castle of Sesimbra, from which we will observe the fishing village of the same name, set in a bay lapped by calm waters. Once you arrive in the town centre, you can taste fish and seafood and enjoy a walk along the seafront.
Next, we will head to Portinho da Arrábida, a beach of fine white sand where the fresh waters of the Sado flow into the salty and fresh waters of the ocean. Here you can have lunch in the restaurant by the sea, to delight your sight and palate at the same time.
After lunch, we will climb towards Serra da Arrábida, a mountainous area where the leafy vegetation is interrupted only by wonderful panoramic views... We assure you that you will not find the words to describe such beauty!
From these heights, looking north, we will be able to see Lisbon and the mountains of São Luís, São Francisco, Louro and Gaiteiros. Turning our gaze to the south, however, our eyes will encounter the intense blue of the sea, dotted with islets, the Tróia peninsula and the city of Setúbal.
To conclude, we will take a trip to Azeitão, to get to know the cellars of José Maria da Fonseca and taste the best regional wines, naturally accompanied by the typical cakes de azeitão, sweet local delicacies that will give a sugary touch to our excursion.
Finally, we will return to Lisbon, where we will say goodbye after a four-hour excursion.
