We will meet at the indicated time in front of the Padaria Portuguesa of the Praça Marques de Pombal and we will leave for Fátima, the Portuguese town known throughout the world for the apparitions of the Madonna to the three shepherd children.
Our first stop will be the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the most important sacred places in Christianity visited every year by as many as five million faithful. We will get to know the Chapel of the Apparitions and the Church of the Holy Trinity, where the daily liturgical ceremony takes place, but also the house of the shepherd children Giacinta and Francisco Marto.
Next we will go to Nazaré, a fishing village famous throughout the world for its giant waves, which McNamara managed to ride, obtaining the world record. In this location you will have free time to have lunch on the beach and stroll through its charming streets.
Finally, we will reach the beautiful medieval village of Óbidos, a place of miracles and ancient legends. We will walk through the streets of one of the most romantic locations in Portugal, located near the Roman city of Eburobrittium.
After visiting Òbidos we will return to Lisbon, surrounded by hilly landscapes dominated by windmills.
